Dianella Caerulea
Blue Flax-lily
Commonly found in Australia, this flower is just down the street from Snapper's in Key Largo. It's flowers give way to an indigo colored berry that is said to be edible. The flower got it's name from the Roman goddess Diana. It attracts fruit eating birds and butterflies. Although it's not native, it looks like it would be a nice addition to a local butterfly garden.
